Since the pandemic, I have been developing a strong nostalgia towards my childhood and have been rediscovering a lot about my own past. Back then, I have some experience with coding HTML, CSS, and JavaScript back in university. I wanted to go back to my roots and relearn everything about coding and making a website. I want to create a website for myself while sharing my hobbies and stories for anyone who is keen. I do miss the time when the websites aren’t being corporate-based and commercialised. It turns me off to see the websites with paywall where you must subscribe and pay to read the information that is potentially either crucial or mundane which should be free. This site is a throwback to the 2000s days, the place where you can swarm the webpage with gifs, automatic music playing in the background, seeing their personal blog. There’s something beautifully intimate and fresh to see a person’s website as if they are your friends who are sharing their life with you through their own websites.
